Beyonce’s mom Tina is so excited to help her daughter bring in her first Mother’s Day. She spoke with US Weekly at a charity event over the weekend and revealed what the new mommy to Baby Blue will be doing come this Sunday. Details below.
Grandmother Tina Knowles dished out all the family plans for the weekend at a charity event in NYC on Wednesday, telling US Weekly:
“[We’re] all going to be together. We’re excited because it’s Beyonce’s first Mother’s Day.”
Beyonce, who gave birth to the precious baby, Blue Ivy Carter on Saturday, January 7 with husband Jay-Z, is sure to have the time of her life with sister Solange Knowles.
But, what does a Mother’s Day for the Knowles/Carter family look like? The House of Dereon designer said:
“I’m hoping to cook! I want to cook my traditional soul food and maybe gumbo. That’s my favorite dish!”
