A New York woman has been arrested for selling hot dogs and sex! Â She would sell hot dogs on the side of a highway out of an RV and then proceed to offer sexual gratification to her hot-dog-customers. Â Well a police officer happened to want a hot-dog one day and arrested the 45-year-old woman.

Can you believe that someone selling hot dogs out of an RV on the side of the highway is less than scrupulous? the Post reports that Nassau County police arrested 45-year-old Catherine Scalia after she offered to perform sex acts on an undercover cop who bought two of her hot dogs. CBS calls the arrest “shocking,” but a real bombshell would be finding a successful hot dog vender who uses a Winnebago and just sells hot dogs.
“The agreed amount was about $100 and then to further engage in an additional sex act—it was another $50,” Nassau County Detective Lt. Kevin Smith said, presumably before shouting, “Now THAT’S some expensive relish!” and violently elbowing the police official standing next to him at the podium.
Scalia would take customers back to her home in East Rockaway, rather than use the spacious confines of the RV, hopefully because she truly believed in sanitary food handling conditions. Neighbors note that she also passed out business cards for a “topless cleaning service.”
“The way she dressed, you knew something wasn’t exactly right,” one nearby resident said. Another adds, “I always see her smoking a cigarette with bra and bikini outside.” Still, we maintain that what should have tipped people off is that she was selling food (hot dogs!) .
Scalia was booked for the exact same crime 8 years ago, way before it was cool to sell hot dogs and sex out of an RV.
