Very Interesting, The one thing I’ve Always praised Google about is them being All about Open Source, I mean it’s Why they developed Android…Right?? Well they seem to be re-Arranging their Values, so they can Add More Money Value to their Company I suppose, Hit the Jump.

1st they carved Big Sites for their Google Map usage, which to me is a Mistake(But Average Google Map user’s don’t worry, unless you are using it like 25K time a day o_0 ), and Now they are switching some things around in youtube, But you may not Mind.
1st Youtube Live, which has been out about a year, which let’s you watch Live events on youtube, mostly through Brand related youtube pages, will give those Brands the option to charge you to view it. Now I would tell the Brands Do NOT Charge!!! IF American Express Would have charged for Jay-Z’a Performance at SXSW, they Would NOT have gotten as Many Views, and Their Name Would NOT have been mentioned so much, and Their Stock would NOT have jumped up, which had to have been a longer run Value than getting a little money from Views!!!!
So you see you actually create a Bigger Value when you utilize the Web in it’s FREE form(as t should Be), than to try and Scrape every nickel an Dime out of People!!!
2nd They Just announced a Deal with MGM studios to Put More Movie content on Youtube, for rental purposes of coarse, But this time I think it’s ok for them to Charge, I don’t know of Any non bootleg websites that offer Movies for FREE, But If Google takes this Content and Makes it cheaper than anyone that may have it, Youtube will grow a good base of people that use youtube as it’s movie rental service, creating better Value for their company!!
Or is All of this to raise Legal funds should they NOT win against Viacom??? Let’s See what Happens though 0_o
