50 Cent continues to land roles in Hollywood. In his latest gig, the G-Unit rapper will play in the action-thriller The Tomb, alongside actors Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger. More details below!
The film is based on an expert structural security builder (Stallone) who is framed and put in a high-security prison, in which the facility is of his own design. The character is determined to find out who set him up and put him in there.
50 Cent’s role hasn’t been discussed openly as of yet, but word around the industry is that he will play a fellow prisoner. Thus far in his acting career, the rapper-turned actor has been featured alongside many Hollywood heavyweights. He appeared in Setup with Bruce Willis, the Freelancers with Robert De Niro and in The Frozen Ground with Nicolas Cage.
The movie will also feature Oscar nominee Amy Ryan as its female lead, Jim Caviezel, Vincent D’Onofrio, and Vinnie Jones.
Amy Ryan will play Stallone’s love interest who starts out as his business partner in the film. D’Onofrio is tapped to play the director of the Prisons committee who convinces Stallone to take one last job before retiring. Jones will play a crazy prison guard who enjoys troubling the inmates.
