Leonard Richard Filipkowski owns a well-known franchised mobile van equipped with flat screen televisions and video games, called “Games 2 U,†which travels throughout central Florida to bookings like birthday parties, children’s events, and church and school functions, according to a news release from the Polk County Sheriff’s Office. Just the kind of van that attracts kids — a perfect foil to hide the suspect’s deep, dark secrets. After receiving an out-of-state tip, deputies busted the 44-year-old Lakeland man and charged him with 9 counts Lewd and Lascivious Molestation On a Victim Under 16 Years of Age, and 11 counts Lewd and Lascivious Exhibition In The Presence Of A Child. After reading him his Miranda rights, detectives interviewed Filipkowski, who reportedly admitted not only to giving alcohol to and then molesting a 13-year-old boy in his “Games 2 U†van, but also admitted to molesting another boy, who was 13 or 14-years-old at the time who had occasionally worked for Filipkowski in the “Games 2 U†van, the report states.
