An 18-year-old women is under arrest after filming a 15-year-old having sex with a 24-year-old. Get the full story after the jump.
MEMPHIS, TN- (WMC-TV) – An 18-year-old woman has been charged with videotaping a 15-year-old having sex with a 24-year-old man and sending it to friends.
Memphis police say Roishuna Bills admitted to using her cell phone to videotape the girl having sex with the man and then letting others see and copy the video.
Bills’ crime raises even bigger questions for Shelby County Special Victims Sgt. Vicky Malone.
“What happens now to the young girl that was in this video,” asked Malone.
She says she’s seen an increase in the number of underage girls getting involved with older men.
“It’s a very big challenge, especially with Facebook, Twitter, all your social media networks,” she said.
Malone says the Internet is a play ground for predators who troll for minors who are flattered by an adult’s attraction.
“They genuinely want to go meet this person, to talk to them and then they end up getting sexually assaulted,” said Malone.
She urges parents to be vigilant about what their children are doing online.
Malone is glad Roishana Bills was caught, but fears for the young girl caught on camera and hopes the man in the video is brought to justice.
Memphis police say the man in that video is not in custody but they are investigating.
