After only a few hours, George Clooney and his father were bailed out of jail in one of the cheapest celebrity bailouts ever! But then again, they really weren’t doing anything wrong. More details after the jump!
Celebuzz–The Oscar nominee, along with a 17 others including the actor’s dad Nick, were released from jail for $100 each, TMZ, is reporting. The group was arrested in Washington D.C. on Friday morning during a protest outside the Sudanese Embassy.
Even prior to going down to the station, the actor was able to get a message to TODAY show anchor Ann Curry who tweeted:
George Clooney:â€It’s actually a humiliating thing to be arrested no matter what you do, but i’m glad to be standing here with my father.â€
