Sex tapes are nothing new, especially for celebs. I’m sure there quite a few people have thought about turning on their video camera or using their smart phones to record while having sex. There’s a ten tips that you should keep in mind while turning on that little red light and getting to work especially if you want to look like a pro. Check out the tips below.

10. Get comfortable with your partner
I would say the most important thing is to agree with your partner [about] how far you can go. And also, can you feel something? It is give and take, you see. You need certain chemistry, I believe. I believe that Johnny and Lisa in The Room had great chemistry, that’s my take. Yes, maybe some of the stuff — people have different opinions — but how you define making love to anybody? This is the gray area where people say, “Wait a minute, I’m not sure if I’m right about this. Do I do this similar thing or do it differently?” So it’s a very personal thing and it’s very touchy — for everyone.
9. Decide on your goals before shooting
You have to go to places that I call “you never been before.” A love scene, you can always improve, if you ask me — the angle, how far you can go with the partner. You have to ask yourself how do you define how far you can go? How much do you want to show? It’s a very personal moment.
8. Fancy lighting isn’t necessary
Lighting is basically the same — we adjust on the environment based on the daylight and the stage we want to create. Lighting is a big deal, but the work is basically the same thing.
7. Use HD
The best way would be to use HD, if you have access to HD. But if you have a limited budget, you don’t have to shoot on that and you don’t have to shoot on both cameras. I shot on both cameras.
For preparation for the scene, you need a bed, different props and, again, it depends how far you go. You can shoot a sex scene wherever you want really, you could shoot action in a forest if you want to — you can do that.
6. Draw from real life experiences
I grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana. I don’t see the certain love scenes where people say, “I love you” and it’s just kissing — this doesn’t cut it for me. Unless you want to present a little relationship where two people care for each other and plan to get married. So, again, you have to make the choices. You have to ask yourself where is the vision and how do you want to present what you have.
5. Rehearse before shooting.

4. Do multiple shots for editing.
It’s based on the cost. Each scene, we usually did one to four, but certain scenes including the love scenes — or the Chris R. scene — we did more than four times.
3. Showing safe sex is a personal choice
I don’t think it should be showed — first of all, it is a personal matter.
Society, through all the centuries have changed. Some people now don’t want to have babies, so they do certain types of protection.
Relationship and love — or sex — is still a part of the nature, whether you like it or hate it. But society has changed and they say: “Wait a minute, we feel that you should do it this way or that.”
2. Relax and be yourself
In The Room, we have two Marks and one of the guys we let him go because he did the love scene to Juliette (Lisa), and it was too plastic.
