Pro boxer Floyd “Money†Mayweather Jr. lost $990,000 on Saturday’s Duke-North Carolina game, according to Sports Illustrated. Mayweather, who frequently bets large amounts of money on sporting events, told Bob Costas he was considering betting on Duke, and S.I. reported that he spread nearly $1 million in bets among four different sports books.
