Kobe Bryant’s 81-point game ranks second to Wilt Chamberlain’s 100-point game, which is being celebrated again because it’s 50-year anniversary is today.

The question is, could someone do it again?

Bryant reiterated late Wednesday night that he expects someone to score 100 points in a game again.

“It probably won’t happen in our generation or the next, but it will happen,” Bryant said.

Bryant noted that it would’ve seem ludicrous for anyone to predict he would score 81 points in 2006, but he stands by the prediction that 100 points will happen when various forces all align.

“Right place, right time, right team … the right opponent,” Bryant said.
