The top slot, however, will be taken by the M6 Gran Coupe and it is in barren polar areas still preparing for primetime.
BMW’s challenger to rob from the piggy bank of the Mercedes-Benz CLS63 gets the expected M treatment with muscled-up additions front and back and quad exhaust pipes. It will stand over the middle-tier 650i and its 4.4-liter V8 good for 445 hp and 480 lb-ft. The M6 Gran Coupe will use the same turbocharged V8 as the M5 and M6, doling out a minimum of 560 horsepower with rumors suggesting perhaps 580 hp.
