2 men allegedly cut off the hand of a 3rd man with a pole saw in an effort to collect on an insurance scam. The full story is after jump.
The men collected $671,000 from a homeowners and multiple accidental death insurance policies. Gary Hardin, 34, faces six charges stemming from the incident. If convicted, Hardin could face up to 20 years in prison. The other man who aided Hardin in cutting off the man’s hand has yet to be identified.
