In New York City, 80 people have been sitting outside W. 33 St. Foot Locker since Saturday for the sale of new Nike Foamposite Galaxy available Friday at midnight. “We tried to put up tents but the police shut us down,†said City Tech College student Andrew Poveda, 18, who secured his spot Saturday afternoon outside Foot Locker on W.33rd St. and has skipped school all week.“I’m missing out on tests,†he confessed. “If I get my size I’m keeping them. If I don’t, I’m going to sell them.â€
“They’re beyond hard to get so we took a trip to New York City,†said Henry Albarez, 19, who drove from Redding, Pa., with three friends to get in line.Albarez and his pals brought a cooler of food and several botles of water to keep them going.

“We brush our teeth and spit it into the street and we brought wet wipes. We have peanut butter, beef jerky and like, five liters of water,†he said.
“I’m losing a whole paycheck to come here cause I got off work for a week,†he added.
