An Arizona burglar’s sweet tooth landed him in jail after police followed a trail of wrappers and footsteps to his front door. Hit the jump for the full story.
Jose Lopez Jr broke into an Arizona party store and made off with a few thousand dollars and some candy bars. Turns out his sweet tooth was his demise. Upon investigation of the crime scene, police discovered candy wrappers next to a foot print leading away from the scene. Investigators followed the foot prints to Lopez’s near by home. They were able to match his print to those found at the scene. Lopez was arrested for 3rd degree burglary, theft and possession of marijuana.
