I have been seeing “Mountain Lion”(ML) All morning honestly(like in the talk about a Twitter Purchase), but No info on when it was actually dropping(which is what I was waiting for), but we do know OS X Developers have it(so Apps already in the Lion system can upgraded to ‘ML’), and there seems to be a lot of iOS integration. Hit the Jump!!

Mountain Lion or as I now say ML also known as Mac OS 10.8, will be packed with integration of iOS type of Apps(like pop up notifications, most likely in an effort for seamless communication between MacBooks/Airs/iMacs/Mini’s/Mac Pro’s and the iOS community(iPhone/iPod/iPad). And I think it’s GREAT!!!

Like this sidebar Notification Center;

The Notification Center is also like iOS;

When it is actually ready for upgrade, it will be in you App store upgrade center;

Now with every NEW Mac OS X jump there are Wins and Losses, And I have found some, on both sides:

NEW Good;

-of course the Notifications

-Airplay Mirroring(A lot of people have been waiting for this, so they can watch things on the Bigger screen)

-iCloud will have Data/Document upload availability

-China’s NEW Apple user database

-Safari 5.2

BAD NEW;

-Older Apple Products won’t Be able to upgrade to this(Anything older than the mid-2007 iMacs, early-2008 Mac Pros, early-2009 Mac minis and Xserves are left behind. The same goes for MacBooks based on any Intel Core 2 Duo processor and the original 2008 MacBook Air) Which means I NEED a NEW Macbook -_-

That’s all the Bad News but that is Pretty F’ing BIG, I mean it leaves a good bit of Apple’s non-mobile device out in the cold. And if so, what do you do? You have to go and spend a pretty penny on a NEWer device, responding up to thousands of dollars, which is NOT clean to the average user. OK Apple I expect a way for you to make this Better, like make older yet appropriate models Super Cheap in the Store!
