As of yet, no illegal drugs have been found in the hotel room where Whitney Houston was found dead. However, prescription drugs were present and it is being suspected that the legendary singer drowned in the bath tub. More details after the jump.

A variety of prescription pill bottles were allegedly retrieved from the hotel room where Whitney Houston was found but there was no trace of alcohol.

When EMTs arrived at the scene, Houston’s body had already been removed from the bathtub so an autopsy will be conducted to determine if she OD’d, drowned or died from some other cause. Family members and friends who were in the room when authorities arrived identified the body.

Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina got into a confrontation with police officers outside of the hotel room where her mother was found dead. According to TMZ, Bobbi Kristina showed up on the 4th floor of the Beverly Hilton several hours after Houston’s death. When officers informed her no one was allowed to see the body — BK screamed, cursed and demanded to see her mother.

Ultimately, she was not allowed into the room and left. Houston’s cousin Dionne Warwick also showed up later to view the body but was also denied access to enter the room.

Houston’s body has been removed from the hotel room to be transported to the morgue for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
