Fresh off his appearance on NBC’s Super Bowl pregame show, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers said Tuesday that he has received interest in hosting an episode of the network’s “Saturday Night Live.”

Rodgers said on his weekly radio program in Milwaukee that he spoke with some of the show’s cast members over the weekend and hopes that something can be worked out.

The NFL MVP appeared in “approximately 11” segments during NBC’s pregame show, according to the Green Bay Press-Gazette.

Despite earning rave reviews for his turn as an analyst, Rodgers has no plans to enter broadcasting when he hangs up his cleats.

“As much fun as it was to be in that setting … I really would like to use my talents for other things when I’m done playing,” Rodgers said during his radio show.

A recent SportsBusiness Daily survey found that Rodgers was the most marketable player in the NFL. Rodgers has several endorsement deals, including a series of national ads for State Farm Insurance.
