I’m gonna have to scream on my Postman, cause he MUST have missed delivered my Invite to todays event, cause I never got it, but it’s cool, thanks to the Net(NO SOPA) I still know whats going on! Today it went down at the Guggenheim museum in our fair City, Apple Announced they plan on “reinventing the textbook”, and they will do it with iBooks 2! With 1.5 Million iPads in the Education system, along with 20K Education Apps to go with it, Education is already strong with Apple, But Now with the NEW App, they will be #1.
The NEW App resembling a bookstand that will allow you to thumb through the books, check out the content, and See detailed 3D animated models of specific elements, You can see live-updated definitions for words as you select them. Portrait let’s you read better, But Landscape is all about being Pics friendly. You can notes and annotations easily, which will turn them into virtual 3 x 5-inch note-cards and Pop quizzes are in the appropriate places you NEED them in!!
