A 36-year-old man killed himself with a shot to the head while driving on the Throgs Neck Bridge on Monday night. This is crazy because not only did he take his life but he put the lives of other people in danger also. Then again he took his own life so he really doesn’t care what would have happened to others.

The man was heading northbound from Queens toward the Bronx in a 1999 Chevy Silverado when he took his own life just before he arrived at the tollbooth, cops said.
After the driver pulled the trigger at 7:11 p.m., police said, the man’s silver pickup truck slammed into another car and then careened into a tollbooth entrance.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and found the man — whose name was withheld pending family notification — in cardiac arrest, fire officials said. He died at the scene about 40 minutes later, police said.
Three people were treated for minor injuries at the scene, fire officials said.
A firearm was recovered, police said, and according to preliminary reports, it was a .25-caliber.
Police cordoned off lane 16 of the toll plaza — where the man’s truck came to a stop — for hours after the incident to investigate.
