Earlier today the last convoy of American troops left Iraq after a war that lasted almost nine years. Although the war began in an aerial bombs, it ended on a relatively quiet note. The troops left Iraq today at daybreak to head to neighboring Kuwait were at least 4,000 troops will be stationed for a few months. President Obama promised earlier in the year that all of American troops would be out of Iraq and on their way home before Christmas.
