After filing for temporary custody for her granddaughter in September (because she claims the girls’ parents, her son and his girlfriend, are drug addicts), Chaka has been granted permanent guardianship over her granddaughter Daija Jade Holland. Chaka’s sister Tammy McCrary was awarded co-guardianship. It’s sad that had to be that way but at least the girl will be in better care! Hopefully her parents get it together soon!
