A 21-year-old who told a sheriff’s investigator that an 11-year-old was the aggressor was arrested and charged with six counts of capital sexual battery. This is disgusting and he had the nerve to say the girl was the aggressive one.

On Nov. 30, Inspector Mike Mongeluzzo listened to an interview conducted at Kimberly’s Cottage, where the girl said she had been abused by Michael McClintock, of Ocklawaha. Mongeluzzo heard the girl say they had sex six times at various locations between July and August. On Tuesday, Mongeluzzo and Detective Ollue Myers went looking for McClintock at a Silver Springs residence and also a home in Ocklawaha, where family members and neighbors reported seeing him acting inappropriately with the juvenile. McClintock contacted deputies and arrived at the Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday, where he Mongeluzzo the girl was the aggressor. He said he had sex with her one time. He was arrested and taken to the Marion County Jail, where he is being held without bond.
