Not just a US venture, as India also is setting up for an Open Government Platform (OGPL), but the White has as of right now pledged $1 Millie to the cause, and begun testing as of last week, Data.gov developer Chris Musialek posted the first pieces of early test code for the named “Data.gov-in-a-box” to begin setting up across the land
“governments around the world to stand up open data sites that promote transparency, improve citizen engagement, and engage application developers,“
using Data.gov (and its 400,000 datasets) as a blueprint. And don’t forget the Administration has already begun to set up Wi-Fi in Fed building’s across the land, as they try bring the country into the 21st century!!!
