TMZ has learned that NY Knicks star Amar’e Stoudemore just plunked down $3.7 million on a new house! Â

According to property records, Amare picked up the new home in Southwest Ranches, FL last month. The 14,555 square foot home sits on a 2.35 acre lot, features six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and a nine-car garage.
And don’t worry about Amare wasting his money … he paid about a million less than the original asking price.
