Michael Jordan isn’t exactly a favorite amongst the players anymore. Â As an owner of a small market team, the Charlotte Bobcats, Jordan is one of the owners demanding a paycut for players. Â Jordan even went as low as saying the players should only get 37% of the BRI (Basketball Related Income), the players received 57% last season so thats a 20% cut. Â Jordan also wanted to cut the length of contracts and a hard salary cap. Â Since then he’s eased up a bit but he is still a leader in a faction of owners that want the players to get no more than 47% of the BRI.
