I like instagram (and it is exclusive to #teamiphone, sorry Droid j/k). The saying never gets old, “A picture can say a 1,000 words”. Instagram is basically free of spam and simple and funny. Well some new features may be coming to it soon. Check out the rumor after the jump.

Systrom’s talk at the Disrupt event also included thoughts on international expansion for Instagram and how social media should be approached in places like China. But, the real gem was his backstage comments about video.
“Our job and our vision is to allow you to tell the story of your life, and whatever tools that may be for video, we’ll end up making them,” he said. “I’m not sure if that includes filters for video or not, but we’ll definitely consider it.”
Currently, Instagram is a six-person company that only offers its service to iPhone users. No Android. No Web. Just iOS. When asked about scaling up, Systrom said he is preferring to keep the company lean at this point by not seeking more funding. That could also mean that a video function would be on hold, too.
