A man convicted of posing as a fertility doctor in the Phoenix area has been sentenced to 18 years in prison. He made sure he checked males genitals before he accepted their donation. Jeffrey Graybill, 40, was arrested in Los Angeles in October 2009 on charges of fraud, identity theft, sexual abuse and sexual assault.
In addition to molestation allegations, authorities also accused Graybill of stealing the identity of a Scottsdale doctor.
The investigation began after two men in Los Angeles said Graybill insisted on examining their genitals before he would accept them as sperm donors, police said.
The men said they saw Graybill’s ad on Craigslist.com, and that he had offered up to $4,000 per month for donations to his fertility clinic; however, they were never paid and fertility clinic employees said Graybill didn’t work there.
A judge sentenced Graybill to life probation once he’s released.
