Jennifer Gomes, 42, admitted she left a note stating, “There is a bomb inside,” at Escuela de Guadalupe, a private, bilingual Catholic school, on Oct. 17, police said.
The note led to the school being evacuated and searched by authorities.
Gomes – who worked only one day a week – was busted two days later and is set to appear in court Nov. 3.
She faces possible jail time for a false reporting of explosives, according to ABC 7 News in Denver.
It isn’t Gomes’ first brush with the law.
She pleaded guilty in 2009 to two counts of misdemeanor child abuse involving negligence without injury while working as a day care provider, ABC 7 reported.
She also was cited in 2010 for driving without wearing a seat belt as well has having an unrestrained child passenger.
