Hackers have posted what they claim is the personal information of former Goldman Sachs executive Robert Rubin and his family.
On the file-sharing site Stickypaste.com, a hacker using the screenname CabinCr3w posted a wide range of details on Rubin, his wife, his son and his daughter-in-law, including their addresses, property values, court cases, political contributions and job titles. The disclosure was first reported by CNET.
Rubin was also Treasury Secretary under Clinton Administration and director and senior adviser of Citigroup, which received a federal bailout during the financial collapse.
In recent weeks, hackers have posted the personal information of Wall Street executives out of solidarity to the growing Occupy Wall Street movement, including JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon, Goldman Sachs CEO Lloyd Blankfein and Bank of America CEO Brian Moynihan.
“Americans will not be held responsible for the mistakes and toxic assets of Bank of America,” the hacker wrote in a blog post detailing Moynihan’s address, phone number, salary and court cases. “We will not put up with the government backdoor known as the Federal Reserve rubber stamping all sorts of moves by banks to avoid their own responsibility
A hacker using the same screenname also the posted personal information of a New York police officer who is accused of pepper spraying female protesters during an Occupy Wall Street protest.
