Rumor Is MetroPCS Could become a Winner!!
Ok so we know that the government isn’t exactly happy with AT&T acquiring tmobile, But At&t may have found a way to make them feel a little better about it! So to help the Gov. feel like at&t isn’t creating a monopoly or a vacuum in the industry, they have to get rid of some assets they already own, and MetroPCS is 1st in line in acquiring those assists to ‘boost’ them up to a major carrier. Right now Metro is considered ‘Regional’ and only has 9 million subscribers, but if that can get to a higher #, it will be more competition in the market, and the at&tmobile deal will seem a little fairer to the fcc and powers that be, Sprint won’t feel so alone at the bottom, and Verizon will be still be able to flip its nose up at, at least 2 competitors, everybody will feel ‘good’ -_-
The fact that MetroPCS could gain strength here is actually exciting as long as they don’t raise rates, that would be good news for the consumers!!! I have Metro and right now their service is kinda shitty, I mean when I’m on biz and important personal calls(like with my Son), the calls drop, which was the same prob I had with at&T but the bill on Metro is HALF the price so it’s somewhat excusable, BUT if they step their service up, and keep the bill HALF the price, OH Man they could WIN, HELLO HELLO HELLO!!!!! (BUT they will have to step their phone game up as well)
