Hadith Caesar, 18, was nabbed Saturday after a witness called cops to report that he had spotted a suspicious person inside an auto parked in a neighbor’s driveway. Armed with a description provided by the witness, Carteret cops arrested Caesar, who had pedaled away from the burglarized car on a mountain bike. When the vehicle’s owner examined the car, he discovered that his belongings had been strewn about the vehicle. Additionally (and repulsively), the man found an, um, fresh pile of feces in the backseat. Police are now probing whether Caesar was responsible for two prior Carteret auto burglaries that included the thief defecating in the ransacked vehicles. Caesar, pictured in the above mug shots, is being held in the Middlesex County jail in lieu of $15,000.
