Greatness never goes by un-recognized; Nike has just been named the most valuable sports brand in the world by Forbes magazine, trailed by ESPN, adidas, and Sky Sports. Nike, built on sports performance, heritage, and technology, attributes its 40% growth from 2010 to its global presence, with more than 58% of its profits last year coming from outside of the United States. Nike also boasts some of the most valuable athletes in the world, claiming six of the top ten sports athlete brands – athletes like LeBron James, Tiger Woods, and Roger Federer.
