One of the notable features of a weekend of intense collective bargaining talks here in midtown Manhattan came on Friday, when Miami star Dwyane Wade shouted at commissioner David Stern after Stern pointed at him while making a point.  Read what David Stern had to say about the incident after the jump.
Several in the room have since said the incident was overblown.
But when Stern addressed the subject, he created quite the visual image. “Well, I wrestled him to the ground …†Stern said with a smile.
Wade was not present at the Saturday session of the labor meetings, having traveled to North Carolina to play in Chris Paul’s charity game. But Stern said he appreciated having players like Wade involved in the negotiating process.
“It’s very helpful to have a large group of players and to have owners,†Stern said of the weekend talks. “It was a very, I would say, healthy exchange.â€
