You know those “Easy Tone” sneakers those Kardashian ladies were pushing oh-so-hard? Yea well…they don’t work! Reebok has been ordered to pay $25 million in customer refunds for their “deceptive” toning footwear ads. Glad I never bought them…I’d actually contemplated it! Find out the details below.
The Federal Trade Commission said Reebok made unsupported claims that their EasyTone and RunTone shoes strengthen and tone key muscles in the legs and butt more than regular shoes.
The FTC went on to add the athletic company lied about the increase in strength one would get from walking in EasyTones.
Those looking for a piece of the refund pie can do so by going straight to the FTC or through a court-approved class action lawsuit.
