The female driver saw it shortly before 6am when he was getting ready to pick up students in High Point, North Carolina, on the morning run.

Lewis, 54, who was homeless, died from natural causes and no foul play is suspected, police said.
Lt. Col. Marty Sumner, of High Point police, said: ‘It looks like he got on there probably for shelter. We had pretty heavy rains this weekend.
‘We speculate he got on there for some way to get out of the rain, and he just expired.’
Local residents said they saw Lewis walking around over the weekend.
Mr Sumner added that Lewis had probably been on the bus for a few hours.
In the call to 911, a school staffer said: ‘She said she just cranked the bus up and she looked and there’s a body on her bus.

‘She was scared. She was the only one out here.’
A substitute driver filled in for the driver on Monday.
Most buses tend to be left unlocked overnight, transportation director for Guilford County Schools Jeff Harris admitted.
Some buses have locks on the front doors and some do not, myfox8.com reports.
Mr Harris said that when bus drivers lock the doors, the buses tend to get vandalized more.
He said the school district is now reviewing their safety procedures.
The number of the bus – 1555 – may be changed.
Mr Harris said the district is waiting for the state’s response as to other regulations that need to be followed.
