Authorities say a man shot and killed a person at a home in central Florida, then shot two others at a church about a block away. Continue reading after the jump.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office says it was not immediately known if a suspect was in custody Sunday.
Lakeland is about 30 miles east of Tampa.
The victims were taken to Lakeland Regional Medical Center. A spokeswoman for the sheriff’s office did not have further information on their injuries, and a hospital spokesperson could not immediately be reached.
A message left at the church was not immediately returned.
