The Pittsburgh Steelers and Safety Troy Polamalu have agreed to a new four-year deal extension that will allow Polamalu to retire a Steeler; something he seems extremely happy about. Â Read more after the jump.
Polamalu’s deal will is worth up to $36.5 million over four seasons, with a $10.5 million signing bonus.  Both sides have been committed to trying to get a deal done for the four-time All-Pro, who had one year and $6.4 million left on his current contract.  Polamalu’s 2011 salary was $6.4M this year. Polamalu, 30, is now tied to the Steelers franchise until 2014.  Polamalu tweeted this to show his excitement.
