Today is award winning actress Halle Berry’s 45th birthday. Halle first made her way into headlines by placing 1st runner-up in 1986’s Miss USA pageant and then 6th place in 1986’s Miss World pageant before making her acting debut in 1991’s Jungle Fever. After her first role Halle landed her first major role in 1994’s The Flintstones and continues to be a leading name in Hollywood and movies to this day. Halle has recently stared in Frankie & Alice and has three films that are in post-production and set to hit the big screen in 2011 and 2012. After her performance in 2001’s Monster Ball Halle became the first and only African American to have won the Academy Award’s Best Actress award.
