LOL at the mug shot though. Jason Dean, a worker at Taco Bell allegedly handcuffed himself to an 18-year-old colleague he had tried (hence TRIED) to romance. Get more details of pathetic situation after the jump!!

(DailyMail)–Apparently, the advances of Jason Dean, 24, had been rebuffed by the co-worker at the Ringgold, Georgia, diner several times.

He drove up to her and tried to talk to her, but forced the cuffs on when she refused, say police.

The woman immediately began shouting for help, which attracted the attention of a trio of nearby employees, who managed to talk him into releasing her, according to the authorities.

Dean, who reports say is a volunteer fire-fighter, drove off but was arrested at his Dalton home on Wednesday by the town’s state college campus police, two days after the alleged incident took place.

They found a pair of handcuffs in his possession.

Colleagues had apparently become so worried by Dean’s behaviour that the 18-year-old’s work rota had been changed so she avoided doing shifts with him, Ringgold Police Chief Dan Bilbrey said.

Dean has been charge with false imprisonment.

Taco Bell was also in the news recently when an overworked former employee of the chain decided to get his own back on his bosses by telling them he quit on their drive-in sign – and using rude language in the process.

On their neon board, in big black letters for all customers and passers-by to see, the employee – known only as Adam – wrote: ‘I quit – Adam. F*** you.’

He then put a smiley face at the end.

Adam, a shift manager at the Depew Taco Bell/KFC outlet near Niagara Falls in upstate Erie County, claimed he had worked 22 days straight and wanted time off for the Fourth of July, a worker told WIVB-TV.
