Plaxico Burress rolled his left ankle last Wednesday during an informal workout with Santonio Holmes and it was reported that he would miss the 3rd practice with the New York Jets.  According to the Jets, Burress is good to go and started practicing today.  Read more after the jump.

@nyjets is giving updates on the Jets training camp and according to them Burress is suited up and practicing with the team.

 

The Jets are still careful not to aggravate Burress’ injury but he wanted to get going.  Jets coach Rex Ryan says Burress should be available for the first preseason game on August 15th in Houston even if his playing time is minimal.
