Brett Ratner who has directed countless music videos and a few major motion pictures is no tackling a new gig, direction the 84th Annual Academy Awards. Ratner has directed videos for hip hop heavy hitters Redman, Wu-Tang, P. Diddy, Heavy D. and The Boyz, and 3rd Base. “Money Talks,” “X-Men:The Last Stand,” and “Rush Hour 1, 2, and 3” were all directed by Ratner.
