Amy Winehouse’s $4 million home in Camden, North London is currently being used as a shrine for the late singer who passed away last month at age 27. Amy’s parents and management team have decided to take Amy’s former home and make it the headquarter location for her foundation. The Amy Winehouse Foundation will help children in trouble, children’s hospice, and children who suffer from mental diseases. Mitch Winehouse has also said he would like to use her foundation as a rehab like foundation as well.

The home tragic singer Amy Winehouse was found dead is to become a the headquarters for her rehab charity, RadarOnline.com has learned.
The $4 million property in Camden, North London, has become like a shrine to the singer’s army of fans who have been camped outside since she died on July 23 at the age of 27.
Now it will become the HQ for the Amy Winehouse Foundation and will be boosted from profits from the forthcoming single featuring her along with jazz legend Tony Bennett.
Her father Mitch Winehouse — who has been campaigning with the British government for money to be spent treating young people with addictions — is in favor of the plan.
He wants the foundation in his famous daughter’s name to boost causes close to her heart.
He said: “It could include help for children in trouble, kids suffering health problems, children’s hospices and more. “We want to make a positive difference.â€
Amy’s record label Universal and her management team agree with her dad that her house it is the perfect place to base her foundation.
Though the charity will run separately from Mitch’s campaign to help young drug addicts, it is also expected to be involved in rehab projects.
The Winehouse family did discuss selling the ten-room, three-storey property because they were so devastated by the singer’s death.
But a source close to them told the UK newspaper The Sun said: ‘They think it’s too precious to give up, hence the new HQ idea.
“They don’t want to rent it out and if they sold it they think it could attract the wrong kind of buyer as it was where Amy passed away. They may sell one day but that would be some way off.”
The results of forthcoming toxicology tests should determine the performer’s exact cause of death.
