Knicks owner James Dolan performed with his band “J D and the Straight Shot” at the Jones Beach Theatre last week.  He performs a song called “Fix the Knicks”.  The crowd seems into the performance until Dolan mentions Isiah Thomas.  Read more after the jump.

At the 1:04 mark of the video, Dolan sings:Â “Doing my best, yes that’s my promise, I check with my friend called Isiah Thomas.” That one line causes the crowd to start booing Dolan. Â It’s no secret about the turbulent relationship between Isiah Thomas and the Knicks franchise and fans. Â What Dolan has tried to keep under raps is HIS relationship with Thomas. Â Dolan repeatedly tells everyone that Thomas takes no part in the Knicks decision making, however we all know different. Â That line in the song reiterates what everyone already thinks. Â Thomas not only has a strong influence in Knicks decisions, he’s practically Dolan’s best friend.
