It sounds like a scene out of the movie “Set It Off,” well not really. A Manhattan woman has been arrested for knocking over three Bronx banks in the past month, cops said Tuesday.
Investigators say the salt-and-pepper-haired Perez began her reign of banditry on June 24, when she passed a note demanding cash at a Hudson Valley Bank in Melrose.
She made off with an unknown amount of money.
Perez allegedly struck again on July 5 at an Apple Bank in Parkchester. This time she failed to get any money.
The last incident came July 20, when cop say Perez handed a note to a teller at JPMorgan Chase Bank in Melrose and made off with an unknown amount of cash.
She has been charged with three counts of robbery and one count of criminal possession of stolen property.
