Today is Jennifer Lopez marks the 42nd birthday of singer and actress Jennifer Lopez. Jennifer Lynn Lopez was born and raised in the Bronx, NY and made her career as a dancer on the show In Living Color. Jennifer made her big screen debut in 1995 in the action-thriller Money Train and then gained more notoriety in 1997 when she portrayed slain singer Selena. In 1999 Jennifer made her singing debut using the popular nickname J. Lo and released her first album On The 6. Her first single “If You Had My Love” went on to sell over eight million copies worldwide. Jennifer has stared in countless movies and just released an album called Love? in April. She has won many awards for both her acting and her singing and is currently a judge on American Idol and will be hosting her very own reality singing show soon.
