“I hope you like 4G, “because it could be the last generation of wireless network in the U.S.â€, Sprint’s CEO Dan Hesse hopes the FCC does “the right thing’ when it comes to how the internet is used.
Today Dan Hesse spoke about how strong Verizon and T-mobile has rolled out their 4G coverage and why Sprint has slowed their progress when it comes to 4G, but says this fall Sprint will have a big announcement with its 4G network.  Their have been some minor complinents from Sprint customers about Sprint’s  4G coverage, on how poor it is in some areas.  Hesse says “There would be no 4G today in the U.S. without Sprint,” he said, arguing that Verizon Wireless wouldn’t have moved to LTE so quickly if Sprint hadn’t gone to WiMax first.
