Gossip mag Star Magazine reported earlier this week that singer Chris Brown’d had another gay slur episode, reminiscent of one a few weeks earlier where he’d called the paparazzi fagg*ts, caught some major flack for it by gay rights groups and quickly apologized via Twitter. This go ’round, Team Breezy has no plans to issue any tweet apologies…and that’s because this second “episode” apparently never even happened, and now they’re looking into taking legal action against the mag for the fake story! I think they definitely should go ahead with the lawsuit. Chris is scrutinized for every little thing and if they’re just making up stories for people to give him an even HARDER time…they deserve some legal action. Details after the jump.
“The latest issue of the tabloid magazine includes a story about Brown becoming agitated during a basketball game, yelling “That’s gay!” and “You’re a f****t a**!” at his opponents. On Thursday, Brown’s rep called the story “totally fictitious,” stating, “He spent the entire day with dozens of members of the production team filming the video for ‘Body to Body’ at 1870 Sunset Plaza in West Hollywood,” adding that the photo used to augment the story was taken in March.
And they might sue: “Chris Brown’s management is considering taking appropriate legal action against the paper … We stand behind our client and want to set the record straight that this did not happen.”
