Last Week Hulu announced they were interested in selling themselves to another company, rumors went wild on where the  TV streaming site  would end up. Early reports suggested that Yahoo was a early suitor but Hulu did not seem interested in the offer that Yahoo had on the table.  According to the LA Times Google and Microsoft have now joined the race to purchase Hulu.
If  Google were to purchase Hulu it would put itself ahead of all the competition when it comes to media and streaming video.  Google already has the rights to YouTube and has it own GoogleTV, owning Hulu would be the icing on the cake.  If Google could acquire Hulu they would have access to Hulu’s licenses to premium content from the television networks and movie studios, which could turn Google into bigger media brand.
At this time  Hulu hasn’t announced who it will sell itself to, but deals are being worked on and they plan on selling sooner than later.
