A 7.4-magnitude earthquake hit off the coast of Alaska Thursday evening, sparking a tsunami warning for coastal areas, Reuters reported.
The quake was centered 107 miles east of Atka, Alaska, in the Pacific Ocean at a depth of about 25 miles, the agency said.
A tsunami warning was in effect for coastal Alaska, according to the U.S. Geologic Survey.
