“Social Intelligence” is a start up that looks all over the web to see any social media(your twitter, facebook, etc) to see if your up to no good, and they do it in the name of your boss! Hit The Jump for Details!!

Social Intelligence was being investigated by the federal trade commission, but that was recently dropped and they were given approval to proceed “as long as it complies with the Fair Credit Reporting Act to ensure that its clients let job applicants know when something that turned up in a background check had an adverse effect on their getting employed, or rather not getting employed.”

I find this super funny, cause I already have a company job(See Me in Action Here), and I call it the Plantation on the Regular, but this is for people trying to get a job, and Social Intelligence looks for things like a job seeker who had an Internet photo featuring him holding multiple guns and/or a sword, or members of a “racist” Facebook group (“I shouldn’t have to press 1 for English! Learn the language”), or even Internet footprints indicating drug use, including membership in a pro-Cannabis 2012 campaign and Craigslist ads seeking OxyContin. Now I don’t do that(unless they count the word ‘Plantation’ as racist, but mine is more the comparison of Slave Labor to where I work, has nothing to do with actual race, more culture), but if you do, and need a job, I would get rid of that ‘evidence’ !!!!!!!!
